My question is, are you certain it is blood? Has the bird been eating any red berries or red colored pellets? Certain foods can tint the stool red, but it would usually be a bright red, not the very deep red color of blood. Think back to the birds diet and try to remember if there were any berries or anything red in color.
Bloody in the droppings is a urgent need for a visit to your avian vet. Bloody droppings are not caused by stress.
If you are seeing a deep red color in the droppings, an avian vet is in order. The bird could be seriously ill, and needs to be seen asap.
Good luck!
