Hi,
I'm considering getting my first bird. I am a reptile keep but I have been thinking of buying a macaw. Here is my situation...

My wife and I both work fulltime and we have a small child. I understand that these birds need a lot of interaction and maybe we can't provide as much as a person who works from home could. I would consider buying 2 so they can keep each other company when we can't.

What would be better for us to get? a Macaw or a Cockatoo? What are the pros and cons?

Any advice would be appreciated.
