Oh dear. You better get some help for those babies right away. I'm a little confused. Have you been handfeeding for 3 weeks? And does that make them about 5 weeks? I don't think the parents will start feeding them if they've been away so long but a vet can give you an answer better than me. Justan, the only way those babies are going to make it is if you take them to the vets right away. I'm really sorry but, just as you have done the right thing by finding a home for the parents when Ron Howard's wife comes to town, you need to do the right thing for those poor, helpless babies. You can't spend time looking for answers; their lives are at stake (and very fragile). From your post about letting the parents go free, it sounds like you want what's best for your birds but haven't thought things through thoroughly. That's why Ruth is trying to help you see that you can't take care of this problem without the immediate care of an AVIAN vet. I know you don't want those babies to die so please post here tomorrow and tell us you took them to the vets. PLEASE! We really do care.
