Good for you for finding them another home. Youre doing the right and responsible thing. They would not survive with the predators, lack of food and incorrect climate out in the wild of the USA, as that is not their native land. The birds and I thank you for doing the right thing.
:I never even thought about preditors or pestisides. I would expect bird lovers to advise not to let them go free. But the reasoning as to why is the reason everyone is right.
:Its not that I simply don't want to care for them anymore...really. I think I just got a feather up my butt and decided happy was key for them and letting them free was gunna do it(provided they had good chance to survive.)
:I really have enjoyed them. It might have been differant if they were people friendly and could come out of the cage at times. But as it is; it seems cruel they stay behind bars and can't fly around.
:In light of the feedback I've recieved, I've decided to email rhoward and see if maybe we can arrange a meeting sometime and see if he had a better place for them or at least some suggestions.
:Someone asked about the female and her egg binding sitch last month. well, needless to say she pulled out of it and is ok today. I didn't take her to the vet cuz she got better but I definantely don't want her to breed again.
:Well, thanks again to everyone who responded with advise and input. It really made the differance.
