I haven't heard of any non-sex-linked lutino cockatiels, but there have been some NSL lutino Budgies showing up, so it isn't outside the realm of possibility.
However, by everything that is available about them, it is fairly safe to assume that her dad is split for lutino. Mom would have had to be a lutino herself to contribute genetically. The expectations for breeding a split to lutino male to a Normal (or Cinnamon) hen is for 25% Normal males, 25% Normal/Lutino males, 25% Normal females, and 25% Lutino females.
In reality, that is only the average, not the actual breakdown. That original pair I cited with the Normal/Pied/Pearl male and the Cinnamon Pearl hen? One clutch they had was 5 Pearl males! Statistically, they had a 25% expectation for this, but the entire clutch turned out all the same.
You know, you just might be able to hire your lovebird out! There are a lot of breeders who would find that invaluable. I bought a newly weaned lutino baby one time, and didn't know if it was male or female, but one of my Cinnamon males took one look and was head over tailfeathers in love with this baby -- one look and he knew she was a girl.
Those two have better eyes than I've got!
