Hi Danny-

Its really hard to find lifespans on chickens when most sources of information assume the chicken is being raised for meat, not as a pet! But generally speaking, they can live up to 5-10 years depending on the breed and their environment/diet/general health.

If you keep one as a pet, and want the best for it, be sure to keep it on a well-balanced diet by a reputable company, have a good vet-recommended parasite control and stay on top of health problems! Good luck-
