would canaries be the best one? i know how to take care of birds, i have a budgie. and are you supposed to handle songbirds at all? because if you never letthem out of the cage then that sounds bad, but if you do, it'd be impossible to catch them to get them back. And should you keep one or two? and do they make noise at night or just in the day? cuz thats the main reason why mom doesn't approve
