Breeding Red Factors-hobby

My Mom crossed a Red factor female with her yellow roller canary.
She got five chicks. one yellow, and four brown and white with
a little yellow. Does anyone know if she backcrosses the four
with yellow will she be likely to get any red chicks? Can she
get an Apricot from this mix or is that another gene entirely?
