I got to play with a couple at the featherfarm in napa!~ They were sooo cute!~ They were about 1100 bucks though!~ Plus I am owned by a conure and he doesn't permit me to even look at another bird!LOL~ Tiff : I'm also looking for a caique - and live in Sonoma County.
: I hope you get replies. We had a red-bellied parrot which recently dies - beautiful bird that did not yell like a conure. I recommend the species or related species, senegal. We loved our bird so much we cannot see getting another of same species - it would remind us too much of Mango. The vet said a caique would be a good alternative
: but they do seem to be hyperactive, I understand..
