I have a baby male Caique too, he just turned 6 months old today. I was just wondering if you have lots of toys for him to play with. They are so full of energy that sometimes they don't know what to do with it all. Caiques can be pretty territorial with toys and especially with their food. Kobe was biting me alot too for awhile and instead of putting a bowl of food in his cage I held the bowl and let him come to me. I made him oatmeal but used half water half apple juice and let him eat it while I held the bowl and just talked to him very quietly. Just remember to wear old clothes because you will be wearing as much oatmeal as he eats. I did this for 2 mornings in a row and he no longer bites when I put his bowl in his cage. When I have him out playing and he gets aggressive I offer a toy. His favorite is a stuffed gray bird that he tackles and bites. Hang in there with Ziggy he doesn't hate you, only trying to be the boss before you know it he will be a sweetheart.
