You need to let me know how many birds you want to put in a cage, and how big the cage is, before I will be able to help answer your first question. In-breeding can lead to sick or deformed babies who lives very short lives. But, if the genes are new, in-breeding is'nt a problem. By in-breeding do you mean breeding 1 specie with a different specie of bird or do you mean breeding brother & sister?
