Budgie will hang from the top or sides of the cage. A dirty vent
is a sign of an ill bird. No matter what possition they are in
they will not end up with a dirty vent unless they are ill.
I would suggest you take your bird to the vet for some medication.
A bird that is sleeping a lot is another sign of illness.

:Ok, I think I see why my bird's vend has been dirty & not as clean as it should be.
:Last night when I had the cover 1/2 on over the top & when I went to look for my bird I did'nt see it.
:Then I looked UP, the bird Thinks it's a Bat :) It was hanging upside down(No not stuck), but it was like that for 1/2 hour at least. I tried to go to the bathroom but becuse it was upside down.....
:Now my other bird dos'nt normaly hang upside down for a long time like this one dose. Has anyone seen that before ?
:It is also sleeping on the cage walls & not the pearch.
:Some times I will see it sleeping on the pearch, but moreoften than not It looks like it is sleeping on the wall of the cage.
