:I have had a lovebird for almost a year. He is very friendly;
:however, he goes to the bathroom outside of the cage. Is there
:an effective way to train a lovebird to go to the bathroom in a particular location?
:

Smaller birds like lovebirds need to "go" quite often. Every 20 minutes or so, put him back in the cage and give him a prompt (go poop, bombs away, hurry up, whatever; so long as you are consistent) when he goes, praise him profusely. Parrots are very smart, and your little lovebird should pick it up very quickly. Good luck!
