She would have been easier to tame if you had started working with her earlier. But she will probably still tame up if you spend more time with her. Try spending time near her talking to her so she learns not to be afraid of you. Also try feeding her smaller ammounts of food several times during the day, so that she associates you with food. When she doesn't seem scared of you anymore, try offering her treats like spray millet from your hand. It may take a few days for her to be comfortable with your hand.
Be patient and wait unbtil she has no fear and starts to look forward to you coming to visit her before making her step up. You can start by bribing her onto your hand with a treat the first few times. Then, when she's willing to perch on your hand, you can try making her step up by gently pushing against her belly with your finger until she climbs on.
