You can add a perch to her cage now if you'd like.Only have it on the bottom of her cage, because she is sure to fall of quite a few times. so have it at the bottom. It's best to have a natural perch, or or one with grip. So your baby can cling on. With this perch she'll learn to use this one and others.

Have a perch that she can firmly grip around. But her toes don't touch each other.
