Hi there,

i am new to birds..Though I am looking into finches. I have rehabilitated animals in the past.. mostly reptiles... Today I found a small box taped closed near our back dumpster that had a young (and from what I can tell by my bird books female house sparrow)in it. she does not have her adult feathers yet.. Can any of you give me some advice on what to do.. as of yet I have not found a wildlife rehab place in the area that I can take her to.. I am willing to care for her until she can fly.. and have plenty of room.. and large cage in which she could learn to fly... But I am not sure what to feed her.. or even if I should keep her.

Thanks,
Titania
