q's about Amazon for sale...

I work in a british pet store, Pets At Home, and at the moment (since we sold our African Gray, Tetley) we have an Amazon for sale.

trouble is, lil Hodge is a bit tetchy!

he's not terrible, not a bad biter as such, but he doesn't like to be stroked much - i.e. he tolerates it but not without protesting by nipping!

how can we tame this bird up? he is 5 months old, and lives by himself. we get him out of the cage for a while each morning, and from the time the store opens to the time it shuts he is on display by the tills, where he gets lots of attention from customers. still a bit tetchy tho, so any other tips for taming?


also, what would the typical asking price for one of these be? Hodge is going for £900, as did Tetley before him, so I'm curious.
