Does anyone KNOW if a hybrid between a Double Yellow-head
and a Mealy is possible? I have a female Double Yellow-Head
(laid 2 infertile eggs years ago). Since then, I acquired
a sex-unknown Mealy. The female acts sex-crazy so I built
her a nest box. She stays in it 95% of the time and has
built a nest from scraping the walls. The two parrots seem
to do mating acts but I am no expert on that. The female seems
to have a distended stomach but that may just be wishful
thinking on my part. Any solid info would be appreciated.
