my Fiance' and I are thinking of Adopting a 18 year old blue front from a Man who has had her for 17 of her 18 years. She has'nt been around birds much or at all and we have 12 other birds most of which are pairs and most are smaller to medium birds. Do you think that she will settle in here or do you think she would be to set in her ways for a huge change like this? We are both very adept at rescue and behavior being the only parrots we didnt adopt or rescue are our two parrotlets, we have everything from pluckers to handicapped birds all have made major improvements. This bird is quite stable and healthy do you think that a huge change would throw her into plucking? any thoughts are helpful we are going this weekend to visit with her.
