I assume the bird that I have is a white headed(capped)Amazon. I am fostering it for now until my friend who adopted it gets a new place to live. He's a nice bird to me, but needs training with other people. Here's my problem:
I noticed when feeding it today that it seems to have a slime on its tounge. It also seems to be swallowing back something when sitting on my shoulder. I know they grind their beak when content, but he seems to be doing it an awful lot. He's not ruffled, but the slimeyness bothers me. Any suggestions? Thankyou!
