I just purchased a 1 1/2 year old male amazon from a lady who had to sell due to divorce. he is a sweet bird, but I am having trouble with his biting. He is better when away from his cage, but I play hell trying to get him away from his cage - he bites and hisses at me - I took him to the vet for a check over and he is fine in that respect. I have searched the internet and the library and it seems as if different sites and books have different answers -= If there is someone out there that has a yellow naped amazaon - I would be so grateful to have some advice.
